Ackermans is on the lookout for Store Planners with a strong foundation in commercial thinking, sharp analytical skills, and proven expertise in retail analytics. While this position is not tied to a specific portfolio, we are eager to connect with talented individuals who are ready to make a significant impact on our retail strategy.
### **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Stock Distribution**:
- Ensure accurate distribution of seasonal and non-seasonal stock to optimize sales.
- Develop location plans to cluster stores with the appropriate product levels.
- Deliver seasonal and non-seasonal replenishment profiles at the required product level.
- **Visual Merchandising**:
- Provide inputs for the seasonal look to enhance visual merchandising.
- **Performance Analysis**:
- Analyze store performance and deliver timely and accurate information to support business decision-making.
- Ensure new stores are stocked according to plan and assist in resolving stock-related queries.
### **Experience & Qualifications**:
- **Essential**:
- 2-3 years of experience in store planning within a clothing retail environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with advanced Excel skills being a significant advantage.
- A Grade 12 Certificate/Matric.
- **Preferred**:
- Previous store management experience.
- Exposure to logistics and supply chain processes.
- Experience with planning systems such as Location Planning, JDA Allocation Planning, or Just Enough.
- Experience in Outerwear.
- **Ideal Qualifications**:
- A National Diploma or Degree in Business/Retail Management or Accounting/Finance.
