### **Minimum Requirements:**
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Basic Pharmacist Assistance qualification
- Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)
- Experience with Unisolv
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- Sound numerical skills
- Proficiency in English and a second language
- Willingness to work retail hours
### **Advantageous:**
- Knowledge of Retail/FMCG operations
- 3rd additional language
- Experience with SAP and E-Scripting
- Knowledge of drug and family planning, and complementary medicine
### **Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist with the sale and preparation of medicines, including Schedule 1 and Schedule 2 substances
- Compounding, manufacturing, and re-packaging of medicines under supervision
- Manage stock distribution and control of Schedule 1 to Schedule 5 substances
- Process prescriptions accurately, including compounding and labeling
- Ensure accurate dispensing, including capturing script details and verifying patient information
- Provide patient counseling and ensure proper medication usage
- Handle medical aid claims and resolve errors
- Maintain and update customer profiles and manage stock levels
- Conduct bi-annual stock takes and ensure compliance with SOPs
